Trauma-Informed Plant Medicine Facilitation Program
Learn to hold trauma with safety and care through every phase of plant medicine workβfrom preparation and facilitation to post-ceremony integration.
Why this Training?
Working with plant medicine requires more than knowledge of the medicines or ceremonial traditions. It calls for a deeper understanding of trauma, the nervous system, and the complex ways people respond to altered states of consciousness.
Without adequate trauma awareness, facilitators may overlook signs of distress, unintentionally reinforce trauma responses, or move beyond a participant's capacity to process an experience.
The Trauma-Informed Plant Medicine Facilitation Training (TIPMF) is a comprehensive professional program designed to develop the knowledge, practical skills, and ethical foundations needed to facilitate with greater trauma awareness and responsibility.
Drawing from somatic psychology, trauma theory, and contemporary approaches to psychedelic care, this training explores the full arc of plant medicine workβfrom preparation and screening through ceremony and post-ceremony integration.
Develop the knowledge and practical skills to recognise trauma responses, navigate challenging experiences, and support participants through the plant medicine journey with greater understanding, responsibility, and care.
